About me

I'm a journalist and writer based in Austria. Internationally, my work has appeared in Monocle, Wanderlust, Sunday Times Travel, Architektur and artichoke. In the United Arab Emirates, where I lived from 2009 to 2019, I've written for The National, Brownbook, Harper's Bazaar Art, Plaza, WTD and the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, among others. I edited infographics and books for Al Bayan before joining the Emirates Nature WWF to work on climate and energy issues. In 2018, I co-founded Project ECARUS to build the world’s first solar-powered overland vehicle.
